An HVAC system should:
- Properly size each unit to allow for proper air flow into each room into your home.
- Static air pressure drop across the handler is within manufacturer and design specifications to have the capacity to meet the calculated loads.
- Properly sealed supply ductwork.
- Each unit installed with a return system to allow for correct return air flow.
- Properly sealed return ductwork which will provide proper air flow to the fan.
- Properly installed fans that rid air entering the HVAC system from polluted zones.
- Installed with fans that balance air flows between supply and return systems which maintain neutral pressure in every room in your home.
- Minimizing capability for duct air temperature gain or loss between the air handler and the air flow into the rooms, and between air flow into the room and the air handler.
- Properly charged with refrigerant.
- Installed with proper burner operation and proper draft.
